'The Mother Workshops', published by Five Islands Press is Jeri Kroll's fifth book of poems and is in memory of her mother Marian Cohen Kroll, who had a career in show business as a dancer and singer, performing in New York and the Panama Canal Zone in the 20's and 30's, before marrying Jeri's father. In this collection, Jeri Kroll confronts the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease as well as the mother-daughter relationship in its final stages.
