Keeping new music alive the Continuum Sax way

This quartet is so much more than soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones; the group explores and creates saxophone repertoire while integrating other art components like film, video, jazz, percussion and electronica with an emphasis on new Australian work. In their latest concert new pieces by Brian Howard, Margery Smith and Mary Finsterer.

He won the award for his fine electric guitar playing but he's also a neat mandolinist, as can be heard on The Translators new CD.

Latin Block Party talk about being a League of Nations band with a love of all things Latin, coming from Bolivia, New Zealand, Colombia and Cuba.
